Sean Two

Your kisses leave me, shivering on the train, tongues beset by family, your wailed news, runs dead across my face, more jelly for the blues, who knows what to believe, but a growing grain, of blessed relief, who bears the crew, to these dockside gates, they always face the truth, a swollen handkerchief, a stillborn fate, a star across the sea, you wouldn't believe how cruel, life can be, before sunrise looms, but your tears can't reach, me on my way, don't spoil my dreams, this November day.

Sean

You like sugared tea, tears are lachrymose, jokes, not your repartee, once might have been so, you suppose, never one to atone, the wind starts to ease, ride out the blow, replace it with certainty, the moon meets your tone, you'd never close, doors on their going, who needs the sea, why bother to roam, when you can believe, kids are still at home, their mother's fine, you fix a drink alone, when they all leave, you’ll change your clothes, huff to the lavatory, weigh twenty stone

Raith Three

It's been a while, so there you go, wait like a child, when donkeys start to bray, or the cock crows, you'll have your say, no need to find, what you rarely own, on boardwalk miles, a star shows the way, frozen in your clothes, this is no play, kid you don't mind, just another show, never mind the time, stay here a while, wrapped up in the snow, you have some style, sit by a fire, don’t worry or scold, try to stay kind, a smile in your bones

Raith Two

Will you stay the same, beneath the trees, each time we separate, remember the times, we drank in the heat, sat drinking wine, now a morning shame, it's not just our feet, in this tired game, believe me, I'm fine, I dream of the sea, to me it's no crime, what does it take, with my dawn novena, to see you again, smile like a hurricane, fix you something to eat, watch you hesitate, why can’t you remain, the sun sinks uneven, cars fill up their lanes, wait until evening?

Raith

The diagnosis half true, you smell the Limes, on a tree-lined avenue, act like you know, the tests that bind, blowhard on your bones, hope holds you aloof, to knows if they’re right, except there's no clue, you won't be alone, in this cosy light, to break out the stones, you sit near the flue, it's not like a crime, for a fire to warm you, you have to keep going, each lonely night, when the kid's phone in, say you’ll be fine, drink leads to ruin, just a strange time, to ask if you're through?

Maya Three

You say it’s time to leave, don't really want to know, if you want to see, you just want away, to live or die alone, dig your own grave, our love is bittersweet, no human need for home, children, big dreams, shifting silence of your sea, you dance on moonlit bones, I want to stay pretty, sing along and pray, the only song I own, before you jump the gate, can you hear me keen, locked to an iron stove, like the cave of Euripides, please don't push me, I only weigh eight stone, who are you to grieve, when you bob and moan?

Maya Two

Fear hollows out my night, makes me swallow ancient flame, wait for lamps to light, when I'm most shot through, you’ll hear me state, change is but our due, a dream of life outside, moments to pray, drink a little sweet wine, there are no avenues, I won’t walk again, you will too, laugh in a better clime, no one else to blame, for part of me dying, don't need shine my shoe, all pieces in play, our tide will turn blue, beyond a knife held tight, will you apply a tourniquet, don't look away in fright, we'll go home again.
