Bring me a sweet sign, in darkness of grain blue, my eyes need this flight, sing to me I moan, in this place of virtue, no one dies alone, we'll sail among the isles, our brightly lit fuse, makes prayer of our lives, steer an even course, funeled by sweet perfume, caressing all we know, you are my shining light, more than any muse. only we decide, when we’re growing old, age will bring us fuel, solace lives on hold, bells ring out the night, our journey fires the truth, laughter tells us why, joy is in our moon.

I'm the one who fights, priest's robes of purple hue, prefer my cotton stripes, within this sea of sharks, my smile arrives on cue, beams as I make a mark, don't ask for crass disguise, to a lover of balloons, try to make me wise, I parade towards the dark, when visitor's are due, my hair's the best part, it blows around my eyes, beyond the day's blues, men make a bridge of sighs, you're no shining lark, my spirit lifts the room, I shall call you Clark, you’ll pay my fines, there's nothing to refuse, explore my best smile, you'll laugh brand new.

It just goes to show, when I hear your blues, in some lane dead slow, being witness to your sighs, ugly internal feuds, the weary lies, drink Chardonay think of loans, energy to sooth, my boiling bones, instead of all the jibes, amid these stinking fumes, you won’t make me cry, realise it's all you know, how to haunt a venue, keeping up a teary note, don't try to be wise, you have nothing new, I've marked these nights, better face the blow, something we always knew, deep within my soul, little space for you.

if you knew how to give, you wouldn't need, seek a place to live, this is no child’s game, around what you believe, chasing all your days, what about the kids, with their surly needs, must they go adrift, golden ties can't negate, what shifts on the breeze, you let blow away, frame those terrible tips, you think such a wheeze, nail the coffin lid, even fools hesitate, to bring you gifts. what else can you desecrate, to live a life by drips, no care or loving heed, what yellow light strips, lays bare your creed?

Whoever owns the right, across a wind hushed dune, makes you wonder why, you keep a cheerful tone, relegate the blues, watch him on the go, forget the bitter times, all the cool untruths, he skims across the tide, living dreams without a phone, always glad to see you, a place that life postponed, the air splashes at night, arriving in a fog bound loop, do you tolerate his lies, reach for holy stones, kid yourself not to look, what you open, he whistles songs passing by, laughs and hums a tune, says it's stupid to lie, you regard him as a fool.

The love you sow, dissolves and gives way, broken like a stone, is it in your creed, to waste all the days, until you feel a heartbeat, in garments sewn, by a drunken oblate, who takes the first throw, incense, flowers and the sea, waves dance without bones, this time it's for real, how much have you cloned, using love as a game, head bowed when you go, a bower near the trees, whisky and blame, you'll never be at ease, brilliant ozone, carries your name, Summer ebbs against the flow, I'll find my own space.

This is not me speaking, jelly for my thoughts, each day jaw bones creaking, a serious fall from grace, cast adrift forlorn, there's no need to create, make a fool of reason, loudly laugh if caught, a splintered axe of seasons, you might read and quake, fake absence at my calls, when I scream and shake, unaware of your treason, sometimes wonder if I'm born, fearing for the next scene, erasure of the lousy stakes, you'll fear being torn, I'm a widow maker, who can dream of empathy, drinking on a wall, boom of a broken sea, I'm not here at all.
