The aching half of you,
when asks for the time,
In a wind tossed room,
acts like you'll allow,
ties that should bind,
feel them in your bones,
it’s wise to stay cool,
if you see the light,
don't give out a clue,
know I am not alone,
on this lonely night,
might even go home,
won’t rage and argue,
allay your cruel jibes,
even nod a thank you,
you have to keep going,
I'll do what’s right,
you might even ‘phone ,
if you feel inclined.
