Josie

She has a sure spark, her face lit in lights, mail unopened in yards, hankers for what's above, craves on lonely nights, doesn't worry about love, with her delivery cart, they ask her to walk by, messages for hazy bars, we all need a crust, the gig suits her fine, she won't drink doubles, if it's a walk too far, rushing about's a crime, just return before dark, works without gloves, unlike other times, before the sun came up, if they publish a chart, tell us what's right, she'll study those cards, be first in line.
