When cafe's swell with rain, or unshaven criminals, whisper your name, hear your groans, dead drunk at Catechism, is it loving coming home, when problems rage, does life make you irritable, at forgotten trains, please cap your moans, keep hurt to a minimum, dance a jig within your bones, why keep love chained, like the trials of Sisyphus, lose all the grey games, you can absolve and praise, for love that tricked us, to stand alone unafraid, troubled yet insistant.

Love makes no one wise, games still slip the collar, of what goes on inside, i love sweet horses' smell, first summer without my father, airport kids' dance in heather, now embrace what i despise, no matter what comes after, even on this flight, bucket lists can't last forever, no one likes to holler, but whoever said whatever, paying is such a crime, my partner says use a hooter, but please stop crying, when did i start lying, was it on the altar, my son asking for dimes, me searching for dollars?

All my cards are marked, but don't lie in my bog, or explode my fallen star, on a wall west of pain, paint picture's of long scars, you won't see me again, just be who you are, me the children you the dogs, in a stone floor bar, maybe you'll love again, a turbo for your car, fallen tears within the hay, could you turn back the clock, tell me i was wrong, what lives beneath your clod, or drives it so far, you helped lift the fog, me dragging a diamond cross, a life in someone's log.

She clutches my yellow dress, a fist inside me caws, hisses like a serpent's nest, there's justice on her mast, , the jukebox roars, crying all around the Gaff, when it comes to resist, she'll shake out a performance, that screams more is less, deep within her howling past, she grows enormous, needs me to crack first, smiles as she does best, her eyes dangerous, waiting to confess, I touch her blue vest, dealing with a lover's trauma, makes me feel blessed, who needs whisky anymore?

What sometimes chimes, with her need to celebrate, is written in the sky, she sees the creep of moon, regular as the five and dime, lilac nights coming soon, she won't even mind, if she hesitates, and laughs at reasons why, men want women to use, to heighten their taste, someone with her views, it makes them feel fine, not reprobates, like kids who drink wine, a girl who's still shy, with a sense of place, slapping hands that wander behind, her love undulates.

Your drinking days laid low, sky and stars converse, reach beyond what i know, you cry again with scorn, to bid me cursed, understand what's torn, your canticle to be alone, a time for re birth, someone to tend your bones, when daylight turns to storm, ask if i was ever there, wish you were never born, by Facebook or i phone, from these lonely suburbs, you'd see me sit forlorn, a thought before you go, never wonder who comes first, all your money growing cold, it’s not me you scare. ,

Swirl those yellow ice cubes, the drink you always hold, is this your new avenue, who do you want to suffer more, me or the one you told, outside the sympathy of whores, that a perfect drunk continues, the kids looked after by Court, all you need is revenue, and you know the score, what's within the fold, this is what it's for, wiser than the sin of truth, communion in your hold, your Ray Bans prove an issue, sunlight skips amongst the few, do they stop and roll, cigarette papers to marry you, really make it known ?
