Spring blesses your name, our ship sails with bells, will I see you again ? that hurt we disown, tolls like a knell, loss is sometimes total, not only children drain, the uncertain wells, by sounds of playing, lemon trees groan, their blossom intense, log trains climb and moan, broken bars blaze, all part of living hell, everything softer after the rain, if i could only sell, or catch those missed days, where an oracle tells, why you went away.

This constant whine, makes everything blue, wishing for another time, you weep with ocean groans, escape all what's bothering you, forget life isn't a loan, shopping malls dinging chimes, bring you lassitude, cities are full of crime, finding luck or a bone, plays you no tune, each day is a groan, but is this the reason why, let me give you a clue, not some place to hide, what's wrong with trying, and loving the few, hugging and dying, dancing around you.

Is this what prison's for, to drink illicit sisters' whisky, on your own, but in a daily reality, we work this territory, wishing we were free, no one really gets over, all the time saying please, being on your Jack Jones, you look at deserted trees, feel your swollen feet, rain falls across the sea, in hushed magenta tones, behind a troubled serendipity, you speak like a drone, they say you've been honed, to numb away the pity, a lovers' voice tolls, do this for me !!

Maisie

Last act of of my rage, furious eyes cyclone, don't go dancing again, the ribbons of a fight, wild sunlight on her bones, there are no second lives, she'll go anyway, a dancer's last throw, forgets yesterday's shame, tethered like a kite, i struggle to explain, maybe in a little while, she turns away her face, smiles at the angry tones, another one to blame, the useless games, we play when we're alone, in different ways, she's gone.

Who dreams of warm bars, moonshine dancing on the pier, a door always left ajar, forget that path to fame, your time's laid down here, no more running for planes, everything around not far, only dreams break clear, by bycycle or by car, give no credence to trains, that suddenly appear, like drifters across the plain, always laugh at the stars, you won't keep shedding tears, pearls form in small parts, around an exercise yard, contain your fears, whatever passes in the dark, another ship sails near.

Our togetherness marks, what gets lost with time, futile to start, as if beyond the war zone, peace replaces lies, to settle in our bones, her eyes sweep the bar, she says, with bright surprise, bums never travel far, my hand holds the phone, sweeps along the line, does she want to die alone, shiny as a celebrity's car, she asks for more wine, her smile like a box yard, who needs to be hard, when she's up this high, I look to the stars, don't ask me why.

Marianne

Why say I'm not part of you, my insides heave, home is a distant slew, waves of listless drummers, pad dream like at my feet, bad echoes from the sun, you don't need a clue, to particularly receive, your own dread news, or if there are troubles, that morbid fools greet, with memories of love, faces crash out a tattoo, mascara runs lemon streaked, the sea is cobalt blue, nothing stays perfumed, alone by the beach, i shrug at the view, 'you're history' gulls screech.
