Tina

You look like you rule, dancing off the bread line, who taught you the rules, you think you're great, at other's demise, stop before it's too late, what makes you so cruel, stuff going on inside, the face of Miss Cool, even in pain, your eyes are like fireflies, looking to make hay, the way you doodle, cooked over lies, is this what you do, here in this game, a race for your life, who holds the reins, a cracked open pool, may offer you hindsight, but not born to fool, if anyone asks why?

Tiata

Unpack your dreams, I don't want to atone, what isn't for me, I'm not a loon, who just wants a throne, in searching for love, the life of all has beens, who live through their ghosts, is that what you mean, even if I knew, you once burned the toast, it's not something to rue, not really my scene, that you try to clone, or face withered leaves, hate what I'm doing, a knife to my throat, does that keep you going, you know where I've been, don't let out a groan, stifle your screams, play the rolling stone.

My lover asks, were you ever born, how come nothing lasts, where are your ghosts, the dreams you have torn, that won't leave you alone, I adjust my glasses, stroll through a field of corn, I know my past, don't ever throw stones, at what you've known, it helps you to grow, I like the chit chat, am not a fool don't fawn, before anything like that, with me in your bones, I can create a storm, every tune has a tone, the clue's in the mask, where no one's forlorn, a heart without scorn, I'm built to last.

Timmy

This is not me, jelly for thoughts, each day of uncertainty, a useless fall from grace, cast adrift forlorn, do you really want hate, or foul reason, to laugh when I'm caught, spitting in the lee, she reads this and shakes, absence from my call, screams why I hesitate, waiting for the seasons, wonders if I'm born, squaring for the next scene, she raises the stakes, a fear of being torn, I have to act brave, who can dream of empathy, sitting on a wall, boom of a broken sea, when she dances on thorns.

Tommy

You ask if we'll cope, can you help, to look after our home, just be a leper, away from the Pen, we've no need for grease, stay out of our zone, you might mean well, but we're better alone, don't wrap us in sheets, measure our chrome, we know these streets, we roll with the blow, on bar stools and weather, our skin needing soap, a long gait and knees, we are not lepers, laughing through our broken teeth, throw away your rope, don't stand there bereft, our pockets might need hope, but there's always heaven.

Sarah

What if you care, that pull on my traces, don't you understand, the tune in blue trees, a web across my face, spun on the breeze, you still need to share, heaven's no kissing place, when you send me there, in chains to the sea, unlike your gaze, those hymns to serendipity, hard to know what's fair, when your voice is raised, lips that snare, down fallen streets, no one leaves or hesitates, sugar sweet, you're not a liar, to sing so great, were you aware, of feeling that way?

Sally

You can sometimes squeeze, from all breath taken, a manner to sleep easy, she sings take me soon, walls washed grey, from hospital rooms, outside is a magnolia tree, love marks her day, it turns in the breeze, it's not her tune, this lousy disease, the wind starts to boom, forget the inner frenzy, her bed's like a cradle, you can smell the sea, she sees sunlit avenues, Paris, Marseilles, not somewhere opaque, but free from bad news, in this house that creaks, she listens to the rain, she turns to speak, says this is what I want to say.
