Thirty Three
Is that you Jade,
laughing as you flow,
to keep men happy,
just the same call,
by the river's flow,
tenderness in a Mall,
back in Salt Lake City,
the year of the blow,
take a piece of cake,
geese in a barren fall,
serenade with croaking tones,
sad as they bawl,
keep that trouble at bay,
no life's worth a moan,
give nothing away,
you'll go to the ball,
your face is pure snow,
diamond heels make you tall,
in the roaring Hades,
be kind as you know,
step aside the freeway,
forget lonely roads.

Thirty Two
Some nights i ask why,
we can ever atone,
stars shine out like fire,
might as well be shame,
our lengh of credit zone,
still that far from fame,
your gaze within my sight,
the wind runs cold,
you're gone another time,
are kids and dogs your game,
then don't get stoned,
just stay the same,
when you hear me cry,
or run from a hanging phone,
it's not enough to sigh,
buy some rusty nails,
make us all a home,
a house is not a jail,
no matter how we fight,
or strain our yellow bones,
we can do this right,
smell the ozone.

Thirty One
Ask who brings serenity,
a creature in a jar,
rescued from the sea,
like someone in a frame,
notes a different mark,
something you can't name,
it's others set you free,
a distant bell afar,
back to childhood dreams,
is this a different age,
you drive around in cars,
but still feel strange,
nothing fills your need,
except a hazy fog,
sometimes you can scream,
dancing on the waves,
a sail for a spar,
all the stuff that's wreckage,
all the things you see,
all the things you're not,
is that you laughing,
who needs a Da ?

Thirty
Happy songs in my car,
holy water in my tank,
they only leave a scar,
blown away in little ways,
a gurgle from the crank,
an awful terrible waste,
you peel away my bark,
make even sunshine dank,
scatter ashes on the bar,
what is left to say,
my mind fills up blank,
clinging to the day,
Oh you are a dog,
no one else to thank,
use me like a log,
bring me to this state,
am allowed to call you Hank,
except on holidays,
I never know how far,
what is down the line,
but see what's going on,
lay you down intact.

Twenty Nine
To begin again,
it's hardly new,
blown down the Freeway,
I've lost a few,
give me your sight,
guide me with the truth,
now my voice is tight,
before you groan,
i'm not your issue,
don't try to hone,
this part of paradise,
when you refuse,
in your own special way,
my love serene,
kiss me quietly,
where others have dreamed,
with a regular rate,
i could have bloomed,
made everyone gay,
sung a simple refrain,
lonely men soothed,
beyond the hurricane.

Twenty Eight
Can't get around the news,
when you danced away,
no one sang the blues,
or stepped off the Metro,
you have no shame angel,
to leave me the loans,
i haven't got a clue,
like all in heaven's way,
to ask what's your due,
everything i call a home,
is spririted just the same,
the children saw you go,
I sing successful tunes,
to a brass bird cage,
nothing's here brand new,
i hate to be alone,
don't see anyone anyway,
there's jelly in my bones,
truth is a bitter fruit,
we jump this train,
have no need of you, .
walking in the rain.

Twenty Seven
For those who ask of late,
don't chance to tell me why,
the house is losing slates,
run a bath with foam,
giving is your creed,
your loving isn't done,
d'you remember the holidays,
our trips to the sea,
when you tried to paint,
studied each of my bones,
become suddenly free,
now we're alone,
guide me through these days,
make my troubles ease,
understand why I pray,
don't let me cast stones,
help me find my feet,
assist my journey home,
you wonder why i say,
with artists like these,
create horizons in the rain,
enhance my every need.
