Sixty One

Dance a poor man's Blues, sing on the wire, you always pay your dues, if no one 'phones, when you try to inspire, then go there alone, each little bit of you, they all desire, don't give them a clue, life isn't a stone, left in the fire, why should you atone, your choice of ruin, sings louder than a choir, baby play tunes, you know in your bones, when others conspire, keep tight this new home, whoever brings you news, see who's for hire, find your own truth, you're not a liar.

Sixty

A flower at your side, just some little token, more than any pride, ribbons flutter in your hair, laugh at stuff you know, you'll always understand, drunk enough to ask why, accept you've been chosen, before you deny, die at all the hurt, a childhood provokes them, outside of your care, a wished for heaven's cry, neither shrink nor coax, beyond asking why, all that here you share, warm your soakings, with silly dares, sing your favourite lines, verify love's spoken, a cloud sails the sky, you remain unbroken.

Fifty Nine

Who can ever state, you'll love it here too, dancing in the flames, hell's just a slogan, your eyes don't turn cruel, they sing as we go, wouldn't it be great, to find something new, live here like a hurricane, we'll pay back the loans, everyone their due, refuse to go home, Heaven's just a name, a place for Satan's blues, no panic reigns, problems the wind blows, it's just so uncool, to say love makes you groan, a spring tide today, rolls with the moon, birds have gone away, we're coming back soon.

Fifty Eight

Chained to your days, can your heart forgive, in greater ways, best not to moan, or want to rescind, your life like a loan, why live in a haze, sheltered from the wind, torn like cellophane, you're not on your own, sail with the ships, there's meat on them bones, find love instead of trade, welcome the shift, you're there anyway, when someone groans, you don't fit in, move out of that zone, why jump the trains, score how you win, there's no perfect way, to know how to give.

Fifty Seven

These waters groan, I whisper your name, our ship sails alone, don't know what to do, a brilliant stain, covers your ruin, can I ever atone, what I sought in your name, especially in war, how unlovely the truth, that echoes disgrace, brings me back to you, whatever has flown, look over the waste, in this troubled zone, the sea's lemon blue, your face is drained, nothing more is new, you need another home, help me to stay sane, who knows what's gone, is it me you blame?

Fifty Six

Memories that you lace, so eager to please, the rise of your face, you recoil at my thunder, my own conceit, a man fixed by number, a certain calling too late, eager to squeeze, what I need you to say, a life uncluttered, my insides screech, don't search for a lover, I'll find you one day, when I watch you sleep, see your dreams dedicate, a time of great longing, a crossing of the sea, waste of time to bother, I'm the disgrace, beat a cowards retreat, bound fast to the day, it makes you wonder, stones, wreaths, grave, who splits who asunder, not knowing what to say who can smile easy, or just look away, at spirit's release ?

Fifty Five

Brilliant clones, whisper your name, Summer's in full flow, you want to be free, is this who you shame, how to live happy, to give what you show, don't register fame, find your own hollow, dissolve by the sea, only fools leave no fallow, it's not in your creed, to number each bone, or circle every day, you're brave enough to know, stones, flowers, pieces, drunken oblates, console you as priest, sing as you go, take your share of blame, drink whisky for the bones, up your game.
