Kevin Two
Put me on the train,
I can hardly speak,
you listen to the rain,
forget sunlit avenues,
or this roof that leaks,
a bucket of bad news,
Paris or Marseilles,
anywhere they speak,
not somewhere fake,
pray I’ll see you soon,
before my hair is grey,
in your lavender room,
don’t mark this day,
when crazy inner deeds,
come out to play,
a magnolia blooms,
love turns at ninety degrees,
it’s not my tune,
what is there to say,
who would believe,
that prayers are forsaken,
when I hear the sea?

Kevin
Please don't groan,
stifle your screams,
I ’m not landing home,
a knife to my throat,
you know where I’ve been,
it keeps me going,
I don’t need a stone,
to throw into the sea,
searching for love,
please dance with my ghosts,
happy as jumping beans,
toasting the lost,
when you love alone,
you’ll know what I mean,
what hurts the most,
in my greatcoat,
you once used to tease,
resides my late soul,
I'm not here to atone,
for our busted seams,
just to say I welcome,
all your new dreams.

Sam Three
If that’s my crime,
a sentence to come,
I’ll drink some wine,
won’t get bitter,
what passes for love,
I can’t alter this,
forget broken lines,
that sing in my blood,
it’s another life,
that you tried to flip,
all there to discover,
is found in my grip,
entwined,
silence in the pub,
I’ll note the time,
no more quips,
on a face that I scrub,
I laugh at such hits,
hear the clock chime,
won’t be misunderstood,
feel that I’m flying,
give hands a little rub.

Sam Two
Dance in dancer’s shoes,
sing songs on the wire,
always pay your dues,
if no one 'phones,
don’t wait for a flyer,
you know where to go,
each little bit of you,
faced with someone’s ire,
says here is the truth,
life isn't a stone,
you leave in the fire,
no one lives alone,
it’s your choice of ruin,
louder than a choir,
pay another crew,
know in your bones,
when others conspire,
you can always go home,
they bring you the news,
yell who's for hire,
ignore their curfews,
you're not a liar.

Sam
A flower at your side,
just some little token,
held with great pride,
ribbons in your hair,
stuff that you know,
never so clear,
too silly to ask why,
that early photograph,
shows you can fly,
forget all the hurt,
a child’s memory provokes,
outside of your care,
wish heaven's cry,
shrunken or coaxed,
you’ve no need to cry,
all that you share,
is warm in your clothing,
the weather’s fair,
sing favourite lines,
know that love's spoken,
don’t have to try ,
know you’ve been chosen.

Reya Three
Chained to our days,
will they ever forgive,
the mess we made,
best not to moan,
or want to rescind,
this life as a loan,
we live in a haze,
recovered from bliss,
stuck together like cellophane,
we’re not alone,
to carry on like this,
there's meat on our bones,
live for today,
we’ll make love a trip,
more than a trade,
welcome their stones,
consider the shift,
we’re going home,
when someone says,
we don't fit in,
we’ll show them the way,
what it is to give.
Reya Two
These waters groan,
they whisper your name,
our ship sails alone,
doesn’t know what to do,
a brilliant sail,
covers the crew,
can we ever atone,
what’s sought in our name,
especially at war,
how ungainly the ruin,
that brings us disgrace,
to face our ship now,
the love that has flown,
we study the waste,
in this troubled home,
the sea is lemon blue,
your face drained,
nothing more is new,
whatever has flown,
help us stay sane,
honour and blood,
we hold by the flame.
