Sal Three
Can you identify,
which back door,
lies between moon and sky,
what till has been emptied,
and other parts thrown,
on this Spring tide,
don't need an inquiry,
when truth is bought,
then buried,
witness the crime,
you know the score,
during this black night,
some drink whisky,
laugh like they're taught,
it makes them happy,
every walk of life,
ends in a nought,
you don’t need a knife,
security lights,
pool on the floor
in winter’s fastness,
there rise the poor.

Sal Two
Before my fame,
I thought only of you,
and what you craved,
shadows pass down in smoke,
against an awful truth,
shocked again I'm broke,
you always waste,
my successful tunes,
in this different age,
at the clubs before,
long vibrant rooms,
I stripped to the bone,
and inside the best cafe's,
made them swoon,
through long nights and days,
I held a simple note,
lonely men soothed,
their betrayals atoned,
to begin again,
is hardly new,
this serenade,
is called lemon blue.
Sal
You wonder why I pray,
with kids like these,
they'd make you use cocaine,
run a bath with foam,
won’t live by your creed,
my loving isn't done,
I hold your face,
forget to say please,
see horizons in the rain,
the wind and holy stones,
will help with our needs,
assist the journey home,
fire us through dreary days,
make our troubles ease,
withstand the fray,
forget the lonesome tones,
now we’re suddenly free,
and alone,
remember the crazes,
our trips to the beach,
a scrimped for praise,
our dancing sea ?

Sarah Three
You scream the news,
in troubled nights,
as if you knew,
all the different ones,
left hanging on the line,
I loved now gone,
fire burns up the flue,
tell me how to cry,
when you look so blue,
it’s not me you unlocked,
swimming on the tide,
everything you held and lost,
no matter who you use,
however you may try,
you are not immune,
who cares that I’m crocked,
something deep inside,
shines outside my shock,
who will smell my perfume,
strange pillows furl the sky,
death brings no easy due,
even when you die.

Sarah Two
I’m set to freeze,
my soul strung out tight,
someone get me free,
in your eyes amour,
do what's right,
you know the score,
rock me gently,
say everything ‘s fine,
don't worry baby,
the hearts of lost souls,
all entwined,
roll around my floor,
glamorous, perfect, serene,
you kiss me quietly,
hold what others have dreamed,
ever so tight,
have I just died,
and loll on water,
a star across the sea,
I swear to the night,
I’ll find some ease,
I’ll be alright.

Sarah
Don't stay up too late,
say that love squarely exists,
tell me get my skates,
the earth hesitates,
like it has a stitch,
I’m not afraid,
someone says give me change,
the pavement is playing this,
it'd be a cheek to say,
spin your plates,
he wants to see my tits,
creepy by the door frame,
walking by his place,
it’s s like a launderette,
tumbling out my fate,
his little smile migrates,
with all the other misfits,
who’ve never seen a wage,
such times of little grace,
when you figure it,
it’s me who makes a face,
is something missing ?
