Brilliant stones, make mud of your name, waters shift and groan, is trouble all you need, solace every day, make sure you’ll never be, totally alone, cafe's exist for games, it’s best not to moan, hold onto your creed, listen to the rain, take holidays by the sea, sunshine’s good for bones, try to stay sane, no one wants to condone, brains for bird seeds, it's not the shame, that sings you're free, just watch me go, dance amongst flames, how the wind slows, my breath again.

Blows smoke across my tears, shares jokes in the dust, then she disappears, I even know the jail , a blanket for our love, whose passage never fails, what brought her here, in the lilac dusk, a woman once so clear, ice blue on the rails, a player till she's bust, absorbed in all her ways, no one could get near, a spark never dull, I swallow all my fears, haunt me like I failed, I did what I could, roll tobacco in blue paper, store away the years, her perfume is like musk, across the bar a cheer, who betrayed her trust ?

He has such giving ways, brings me Bollinger, on my birthday, what can we do alone, without the sense, of living our kiss time, wine pours down my face, it’s like a Christening, he slices the Angel cake, are we here or gone, without a Dime to spin, laughing at the unknown, sample the waste, our jellied lives crown, when called upon to pray, we roll and pitch astern, like ships on the sea, will our trips atone, for the greatest of days, awash with slips, it’s easy to celebrate, his beautiful spirit.

Emma

A painter of religious scenes, she dabs around a glaze, a thirty-year-old dream, regards the work she’s honed, abandoned to this game, it’s never set in stone, yellow days of sunbeams, she always feels the same, images not what they seem, the canvas lets her roam, a stretch on wooden nails, in many ways she's gone, a matchstick in the sea, bobbing without a name, floating for eternity, work is hard to own, laughs come day to day, in this ocean town, her head cries for relief, sunken eyes stray, her mind is never easy, she nails another frame.

Who hasn't thought, alone and vexed, about what we’re taught, a drink of red wine, the burdens of text, anniversaries rewind, what we have caught, entitled like the rest, life’s too short, with lovers Online, wonder who’ll pop up next, wasting our time, generally divorced, lying through a dark vest, drunk and overwrought, alone down the line, I'm generally perplexed, love’s not a crime, with a cast of noughts, a personality test, is not to be forced, trying to live our best.

Andreus

Do you remember the sea, the swell and the spray, our dance of Thebes, now the kids have flown, gone away, have their own homes, we dance on the beach, at the end of the day, our loving done on Sundays, each part of the gloam, is suddenly drained, somewhere I’m alone, you touch my knee, show me the way, my troubles cease, I'm windblown happy, I hold your face, forget cocktail parties, catch moments like these, listen to what I say, buy me chips and mayonnaise, hear me pray.

Smoking a lucky star, chasing numbers, going out the door ajar, the same calendar, her sister says 'i wonder', she's a great heart, now she’s bought a car, near the Rotunda, should have seen her park, right from the start, no surrender, she screeches the tar, all in tears our Ma, ten years later, we still hear her laughter, it finishes our Da, the loss of a daughter, her photo in the parlour, love always hungers.
