Uma

I paint like Marcel Duchamp, and walk with weary gait, feel my socks they're damp, bring cognac to my table, steaming dishes by measured pace, fated my broken frame, am no picture to look upon, swaying like a crane, just want my work shown, on winter's days, unshaven waiters in cafes, often see me faint, men before me are calm, with buttered hair in strains, say c'mon c'mon, is love just a game, canvas is the stuff I crave, museums wear a lonely face, will they hang my name ?

Tracylee

When you see a shining star, does it make you weep, shows you just how far, children and dogs, can set you free, make you better than you are, in a warm hazy fog, you blunder to succeed like being shipped to Mars, let me cross that bar, upset the sea of tranquillity, give me all i want, and if they can't, forget the Ferrari, i'll make do with the box, bless water in my font, make all my fires decrease, inform me what's going on, I'm like someone from afar, watching flowers grow gently, music by The Mighty Wwah, it scatters all my needs.

Living here's no paradise, it never makes the news, this suburb isn’t nice, but it could be great, sand and sea like perfume, stardust on our plate, all we need's a better try, show what we can do, save us from unholy spite, our songs will resonate, ringing out the shoo shoo, won't find a better place, this district is our life, what it holds is true, naked sodium lights, won’t stop us to create, singing our good news, we're far from debilitate, give us these Spring nights, where we live anew, even the days we might, fly the chicken coup.

Since you've been away, we don't know what to do, but each night pray, you break some maddened stone, say it’s all you can do, no one keeps you home, sleep this time of day, hear you in the bathroom, nothing more to say, why you have to go, always playing the fool, laughing down the 'phone, the walls have turned grey, smoking's not your ruin, you've eaten all your cake, we're the ones alone, what is left for truth, fresh as April snow, you see the creep of moon.

The one of you I knew, when time was short, would rage at these Blues, in this consumer light, you live without a phone, it doesn't make you wise, nothing gives a clue, no print or written tome, what you're going to do, they all know your right, who gives its best to go, with the cards so slight, you'll never be a fool, to take on others moans, push against their rules, pictures i have of you, wouldn't let condone, all the stuff we rue, you say baby show'em.

C'mon lets up our game, don't leave it to chance, shuffle what remains, listen to some grounded song, time could never lance, make us feel we belong, sat here watching the rain, sheet down a broken path, why not just retain, glorious times and getalongs, stay well balanced, enjoy rooms with dark marks, rouge my lips sad face, stoke my cigarette glances, wine we drink not chase, can't we just bumble along, flying by our pants, hoping we right the wrongs, light the unlit lamps.

Oaklee

Blow flame across my tears, share jokes in the dust, then you disappear, I thought you'd never fail, wrap blankets on our trust, laughter on bar rails, what brought you back here, in the lilac dusk, a man once so clear, ice blue as the trail, a rider till he's bust, absorbed in all your days, no one could get near, a spark that never rusts, many have shed a tear, a hammer for the nail, I did what I could, he haunts me like a grail, nostalgic for the mud.
