Take me to the train, it's my turn to speak, listen to that rain, you'll see a sunlit avenue, not a roof that leaks, free from all bad news, thats whewre I want to play, far from this house of geeks, Paris, Marseilles, we'll be there soon, from this bed that creaks, astray from hostal rooms, somewhere sunny opaque, without crazy freaks, midnight come out to play, you'll see me bloom, with inner feelings, if you sing these tunes, just spin me away, love turns at ninety degrees, then you'll hear me say, I'll drink the sea.

Are you so unaware, think your c'mon on's great, I don't even care, am not looking for a home, a veil across my face, you're too far gone, there's no need to share, a spin on your Saturday, I'm not even there, I'll have fun alone, when your image fades, practice dancing on my own, wonder about combed over hair, like a great traipse, so little time to spare, a hymn to what once shone, when the shutter's raise, something's now cold, what makes you dare, to pull my traces again, can't you understand, everything's too late?

Who can dream of empathy, sitting on a wall, too drunk even to speak, why raise the stakes, he mighn't come at all, useless dates we make, I wait for the seasons, with my crown of thorns, have given up on reason, he could arrive with grace, laugh instead of careworn, should I act brave, he studies me with ease, like i've been caught, pissing in the sea, lends a hand that shakes, absence in his call, understands why I hesitate, this is not really me, jellied to my core, a flower of deep uncertainty, scared of being torn.

Da's agin in the pen, our pillows are not soaked, you stand there bereft, if you think he's class, consider him gone, he'll never eat grass, always first to the Den, laughs at us dopes, thinks he's the only one, he won't be assed, leaving you alone, will just shoot more gas, can't sit and pretend, we want him back home, there's nothing he's left, on a chair bound fast, holding a lover's phone, don't care what happens, you say we can help, pray that we'll cope, Ma you're a mess, we splice our own rope.

You'd scream would you, when she demands another loan, talks of her bad news, sunlight, water, sky, you avoid that ocean boom, God knows maybe she's right, she shimmers down the avenue, her daisy head is blown, she paints us lemon blue, howling jangles to the night, we try to impose a curfew, avoid the constant fights, when she cries for truth, you say she's not alone, drains me just to argue, what's worse is her rights, says we've gone to ruin, you, me, all our lives, before asking for her due, hunger reveals our don'ts, leaves us here to stew, she wants another home ?

Please don't moan, I'll stifle my screams, stay a rolling stone, a knife to my throat, you know how it's been, what keeps me going, I just want a throne, to perch by the sea, searching for love, why dance on my ghosts, no more a has been, you like that the most, when you don't come home, is that what you mean, if I butter the toast, maybe you groan, you once used to tease, won't break my bones, am not here to atone, for your busted schemes, neither to loan, more of my dreams.
