Gianna
Your star is coming home,
it trails a police light,
in gardens, you lie prone,
whisper your love,
on throwaway nights,
your ravaged face a moon,
like saints expose their bones,
a song gets you tight,
makes you drink alone,
a balcony bright with doves,
a learned moan cried,
you pray to those above,
fresh linen and eau de cologne,
always makes them sigh,
for those who are gone,
you see every move,
millions live and die,
some of them in blood,
luminous as a frozen stone,
you stand to one side,
let the ghosts pass through,
they all know why.

What might have been,
does not always square,
for a life tranquil,
don't sing me the blues,
you’re not that aware,
to hide away from virtue,
blowing like steam,
your nostrils flare,
eyes a silent scream,
tell me the truth,
is my voice so slurred,
who needs more proof,
I drink every evenings,
would you care,
when I say I'm beat,
look at me you fool,
is it my hair,
what do I need ro do,
can you hear the sea,,
wwill you take me there,
Its where i want to be,
are you scared?

I don't need a shrink,
tell my lover go away,
give me time to think,
what I might disown,
like a butchers display,
is sight of his bones,
I know what you're thinking,
you don't need to say,
his house is a sink,
a letter from home,
says come on love pray,
hostage only rules sorrow,
I teeter on the brink,
though whole winter's days,
slipping on an ice rink,
the stuff that I down,
trying to mitigate,
would make a Jock blink,
i'm not playing for kicks,
the surface of my rege,
is no easy trick,
my foot's on his tail.

Signs we fly away from,
some place before sunset,
submerged flowers gone,
our associate’s due,
bringing his astonishing jet,
hear whispered thank yous,
fire and distant thunder,
greet our target,
the unfettered amongst us,
beyond this daily cruise,
our days get frit,
fighting over what to do,
wash ourselves and wonder,
no matter what the bet,
somone always goes under,
how the world snoozes,
untangling our little knot,
night cools a morning slew,
we know who's split asunder,
in our lives of yet,
we think of the bonds,
paying off the debt.

A cold wind blows,
it stokes my fear,
who remains at home,
snow doves arch above,
the sky is needle clear,
so far away from love,
give money for his clothes,
everything’s so dear,
there are no bad notes,
ski with those who live,
laughing ups the gear,
choose who always will,
my vision's very slow,
whenever it's unclear
know we are never alone,
thrown across the slips,
worry who comes near,
those you'll never hit,
wear long coats to show,
winter's only once a year,
try to reach our saoul,
shiny frozen tears.

Your smile lets you prance,
no fear of being sought,
by smart tongued chit chat,
let all the bean counters,
show you the course,
you look good turn around,
live what is chanced,
sing yourself hoarse,
accept praise of your balance,
discard those who rant,
if they make you taut,
forget all the glib answers,
hold your nerve and ask,
why they're so fraught,
sip whisky from a flask,
regret missed chances,
work out the score,
bury failure in the ground,
you'll always dance,
unlike many caught,
won't look askance,
at those who are frozen.

God knows if they're right,
that he will try anything,
sunlight, water, sky,
like the tide off Burbo Bank,
his smile is estuary wide,
begins where I'm back,
he never leaves my side,
but sits here and sings,
like someone on fire,
his lungs are like tanks,
he bellows take everything,
could prise open a bank,
next to him i slide,
his lips twist sugary,
sweetened by constant lies,
tobacco blonde eyes cranked,
a dancer whose fame decides,
to walk tall and swank,
I dance in the tide,
my day is just beginning,
no obe sees me sigh,
fresh, alive, giving.
