Nancy
I don't want to know,
if you've really time,
to reel what you've done,
choke while you pray,
consoled in your wine,
keep the house anyway,
when you're all alone,
you'll think me kind,
listening to your groans,
hear me when I say,
you’ve spun your last line,
dreaming of the highway,
what you really own,
is a poor man's tontine,
shamble of bricks and loans,
you ask why I’m late,
I'll tell you why,
been at the lawyer's place,
you can never atone,
why bother to cry,
made everything wrong,
too late for trying.
Oceana
Just a game my sister,
forget how to wrangle,
all we have is blisters,
your search for the free,
hangs like a dongle,
a kite across the sea,
the way you kiss,
makes his eyes crinkle,
forget those promises,
set loose on the breeze,
admire his frankness,
wave surfing carefee,
don't let yourself spin,
each line he imagines,
reeling you in,
he won’t write an oddysey,
or give you a handle,
another no bode addressee,
why do you insist,
waiting on the shingle,
nothing's here to miss,
Baby he's a wrinkle

it's useless to placate,
a Knife to the bone,
always see it too late,
never safe to heed,
what you've been doing,
no one makes me bleed,
don't get in the way,
will slay my own ghosts,
how long be the wait,
say nothing of that scene,
just leave me alone,
my turn now to deceive,
it leaves me delicate,
a song with broken tones,
sealed in a boxed freight,
not in my creed,
to keep fear at home,
if you want to succeed,
the moon comes up great,
it knows what I've seen,
hung wind in the slates,
fire on the breeze.

Lana
Whatever else you need,
make it the last one,
will wave when I leave,
consider me done,
not busted nor relieved,
I'll still count my bones,
hang on the breeze,
by an Ocean or shore,
you won't hear me scream,
when you walked me home,
under lilac trees,
my eyes were aglow,
nothing's what it seems,
you had me on toast,
part of your conceit,
now listen my good fellow,
don't play other scenes,
you'll drink to atone,
what you once stormed,
it's rotted to seed,
you've lost this last one,
waiting to deceive.

Kathleen
Some nights I ask why,
other times don’t,
why stars shine all night,
is it a sense of peace,
somewhere that marks their zone,
you staring into space,
turn away from my eyes,
the wind is black and cold,
sunk again in wine,
kids and dogs are great,
we get along why moan,
no one sees the slate,
can’t make up your mind,
if you're here or gone,
say flame must start with light,
then listen to me fulminate,
rage down a broken phone,
suffer my tirades,
no matter how we fight,
strain our yearning bones,
I'm only serving time,
not to be alone.

I won't leave you alone,
know each move you make,
even if you lie entombed,
believe it if you must,
I'm sick of this place,
sat here gathering dust,
enough for it to show ,
what a lousy disgrace,
you are in your bones,
call it another loss,
looked at this way,
memories cover every cost,
porous as a honeycomb,
I'm the one who delays,
trips to the paupers yard,
face what you haven't got,
nothing's left to take,
no matter what you want,
promises on Blue notes,
stamp them on your stone,
just a bum on the make,
I'll still bring you home.
Ivy
You can swear and blow,
say it's too late,
just make your way home,
I'll fix some soup,
won't think about fate
when next rent's due,
you're a rolling stone,
always planning escape,
sweating on the dice roll,
you better come soon,
before everythings changse,
I might wake and coo,
too close to the zone,
my love comes with grace,
but not on its own,
always plenty left to do,
withstand others gaze,
who cares about looks,
no knife's to my throat,
why need to explain
you'll always need loans,
I celebrate this way.
