If it’s in your blood, this house of whispers, screams it does no good, places you want to claim, haven't had justice, still sing on hot freeways, time itself goes bust, something vague's no bonus, being prepared’s a must, find another way, simply do what needs insist, knowledge never fails, maybe we need a tug, to sail without a ship, when sun lifts the fog, search for love again, walk the middle distance, never bow to shame, the Ocean's always good, why make a fuss, many a life's in trouble, here for all of us.

I’m set to scream, heart a fusebox tripped, someone get me free, in your eyes amour, do what's right and kiss say you know the score, rock me gently, don't let me slip, sing I've got you baby, the poor of lost souls, all enlist, to rock around my floor, glamorous perfect dreams, call me your little miss, tell me I'm a Queen, wish me a good night, decline to mess or quip, take a toil of water, a star across the sea, I'm at home on ships, movement's my slipstream, you are still a kid.

Forget all the clowns, that come to woo you, so many without a yanna, as loud as their woes, ships blow their hooters, every note sings of home, just not what’s gone, that makes them swoon, but you on your throne, your face deadpan, in a bar full of losers, they think you're grand, nothing comes by chance, let the eyes be ruined, everything comes to pass, raise your head and laugh, what can they do to you, counter countenance, strange these ocean towns, all their faded boozers, they need someone to crown, even from the sewer.

Beneath a cause betrayed, conceal bitter feelings, take them to your grave, don’t give in to Blues, let every bell ring, my celebrations will be huge, what a noise they'll make, no curdled soup of wailing, everyone knows their fate, sprinkle perfume around the room, when called upon to sing, crash into hullabaloo, watch ships in the bay, it's time to fling, salt on all this heartache, with the kids brand new, will laugh at everything, even if it isn't true, won’t gamble all and say, love for me is everything, even if he's turned the page, I'm still hoping.

Can still hear me Da, laughing like a foghorn, wondering what's wrong, happy we're not scarred, or left forlorn. keys turn on the car, have to switch off, looking war-torn, he broke us lot, stamping his cigarette tar, anger like lightning born, his ashes fall like stars, right from the start, he pushed his own cart, unsure about his heart, we can’t find that chart, my son knows the score', how far it's gone, trips to the market yard, old shirts he’s worn, drink tore him apart, love has no form

It's quiet here now, after fifty years of need, my heart still calls home, still as the cave, where praise be, I hope to be saved, my body glistens and glows, back in this country, it's here that I grow, provide me this space, I’ll take serenity, especially on feast days, storks with barren tones, glide against the breeze, on volcano's shoulder, they heasr me pray, in light of the season, my life on the rails, in the blue dawn, stripped like a tree, my hands cover a rose, old lovers weep.

I keep trouble at bay, know what this job requires, any problems look away, they pester me for loans, even if I seek the tide, you're never left alone, won't stumble in the gaze, fan their desire, no one here's that brave, scared to your bones, when they call you a liar, threaten them with guns, ride that blue wave, pretend you carry a knife, dare them look look again, you don't have to 'phone, make signals and signs, I'm good on my own, maybe what it takes, bring bellows to my fire, give me something to trade, I'm not out for hire.
