Our Cargo Party: Gloria
Our Cargo Party: Gloria: Whoever owns the night, a wind shushed fog horn, makes you wonder why, he keeps a cheerful home, somewhere to have form, he's always...
Gloria
Whoever owns the night,
a wind shushed fog horn,
makes you wonder why,
he keeps a cheerful home,
somewhere to have form,
he's always on the go,
forget the bitter times,
all the truths forlorn,
rain, gloom, patricide,
dreams without a phone,
always there to storm,
the life he's postponed,
night air splashing by,
a page that is torn,
some waste all their lives,
others touch the stones,
kid themselves with Porn,
seek what they had before,
regret freedom passing by,
I nod and keep score,
say it's stupid to lie,
something has to fall.

Frankie
Love you have to show,
dissolves gives way,
makes a fool of every bone,
is it just your need,
to circle the days,
with what won't let you see,
your garments worn,
like a drunken oblate's,
tells me all I know,
incense, flowers, creeds,
to dance on Island States,
is that all you feel,
with all that you've sown,
to keep only blame,
a head for a scarecrow.
buy a house by the sea,
find your owm space,
Spring's soon to be,
well I'll be blowed,
you'll come away Saturday,
bring whiskey I suppose,
I won't be paying.

This is really not me,
jelly for thoughts,
each day of uncertainty,
a useless mile from home,
cast adrift forlorn,
who wants to be alone,
make a fool of reason,
laugh when I'm caught,
howling at the seasons,
you’ll read this and moan,
make absences of my calls,
screaming down the phone,
banking on some creep,
wonder if I'm born,
awaiting the next scene,
you’ll raise the tone,
fear of being torn,
take me as I am,
remind me of the sea,
tell me there's no walls,
whoever dreams of empathy,
will never let me fall.

Desiree
let's Look at the moon,
a spring tide today,
everything turns to blue,
birds that have flown,
don't sing on their way,
how do we ever know,
my eyes are like fools,
wouldn't it be great,
to find somewhere new,
in this empty zone,
where no one reigns,
I've come to atone,
be someone not cruel,
but poised and sedate,
who is gentle and cool,
when a winter wind blows,
and emotion gets flayed,
dissolves in the snow,
I laugh like it's June,
roses shine my face,
said what I needed to,
asked for sweet grace.

II I need another home,
assist me to say,
what you know is gone,
all I need to do,
get rid of the waste,
seek out the new,
even in troubled zones,
there's solace every day,
happens if I'm alone,
the sea is lemon blue,
bars play football games,
there is always food,
here in my bones,
love will find a way,
shows how much I know,
cherished by the few,
with no thought for gain,
giving is the only truth,
help me rise again.

Can’t you see why,
accept that we're frozen,
instead of constant deny,
stare at loose laces,
mouth a stupid token,
memorise soft phrases,
sing your favourite lines,
our time's done with roses,
there is no lullaby,
gone our kid's faces,
neither shrunken nor spoken,
lost at their places,
near a hospital bedside,
hold onto love's bonus,
clouds sail the sky,
you blew over the traces,
don't care for solace,
spare us our graces,
what lies unbroken.
