Ula

Do you think when beat, perhaps with a common air, you can rescue everything, if love’s the game, it's so hard to share, even with my good name, forget depths of need, friends saying take care, who needs sympathy, getting out’s the same, never short of being square, stuck in some slow lane, understand how to keep, a wooden face on stairs, bars are my sole conceit, anyone I can tame, watches me dance on chairs, maybe use ankle chains, does anyone want to see, my freshly washed hair, eyes lit like kerosene, my soul laid bare?

Toni

Is this how we imitate, our inventive best, by crashin on our brakes, batter open every door, destroy our defences, bend over backward, fuelled by what we take, like all the rest, our bodies twist and shake, fools line up to applaud, think we've passed the test, does two and two make four, if the night's cool probate, scatters across our senses, we count what we make, eye the drunken poor, forgive their presence, join them on the floor, search and dance out pain, it's a task that's blended, won’t chase these away, our new friends.

Raine

You'll pay a heavy score, my face is savage blue, love comes swollen raw, no sense of ease, always stuck in your Queue, never would say please, games divined by whores, sitting here in gloom, listening for your footfall, bad enough this street, to dance on good news, hear only loose screams, why hack at lonely chores, turned my life wishing you, sweat in furious pause, when you rage and bleat, you never were my glue, begging at some retreat, am already over you.

Quinley

Does water stand in mud, in this house of whispers, who says it does no good, places you want to escape, don't reqire a chorus, to sing along the busways, smothered as time goes bust, leaving here's a bonus, be prepared for mistrust, find another game, do what time insists, to love is always pain, maybe you need a tug, sail away without ship, stamp ashes into dust, search for feeling great, tread the middle distance, you will find that fame, an Ocean never floods, so why make a fuss, life runs in your blood, plenty for all of us.

Pearl

Forget all the clowns, that come to woo her, they wouldn't know how, as loud as their woes, ships blow their hooters, every song sings of home, it's not her gold gown, that makes them swoon, an air of Je sais Pas, she glides without a crown, in bars full of juicers, she'd rather be alone, nothing happens by chance, her soft eyes are ruined, everything comes to pass, swaying she raises a laugh, but what can they do, beyond bare countenance, strange in these ocean towns, these old faded boozers, no sight of her throne, between the losers.

Oaklee

You scream the news, in troubled nights, to everyone you knew, sung to the different bums, left hanging on the line, once you loved then let run, sounds like lose this crew, don't come easy you cry, avoid as they look at you, not just me you shunned, swimming against the tide, you left all of us done. no matter who you use, however hard you try, you are not immune, who cares what is numbed, something deep inside, shines beyond my love, who will sing your blues, clouds fill the sky, death brings no easy due, never a good sign. .

Nula

Bellow I;ve been betrayed, rage at bitter holy things, take them to my grave, can't afford the Blues, where everyone just clings, and debts arrive on cue, what a sound they make, a curdled breast to living, who knows how they'll shake, smoke cigarettes in the room, when called upon to bring, honey to kid's sugar hoops, watch ships glide the bay, do you really want to fling, salt on all this heartache, a child brand new, wants to laugh at everything, even if it isn't true, don’t gamble all and say, love to me is nothing, can’t cheat a turning page, find me a place to sing.
