Wouldn't it be great,
to dance on fallen snow,
to gurgle with the rain,
go and mend a fuse,
work at what we've blown.
it will come again soon,
don't care what it takes,
at supper ask for bones,
search for ways tp pay,
forget what is our due,
no constant need to show,
a party ship of fools,
we always walk in State,
spit upon the ground,
consider what remains,
no one sees us lose,
whether up or down,
run better on low fuel,
summer's here again,
gives us all we know,
bounty to our grace,
resting in the shallows.

Katie
My visions help negate,
what's hard to believe,
when you ran away,
did you roll in thunder,
explode like artillery,
lost in moans to number,
you'll find out one day,
just what you leave,
plans you’ve thrown away,
my mind's now uncluttered,
only wild birds screech,
who needs love,
why stand in the way,
of a cowards retreat,
now you've had your say,
it does make you wonder,
gemstones, graves, wreaths,
who splits who asunder,
memories of your fate,
are not easy to keep,
but poetry of our days,
blesses my sleep.

In any kitchen place,
when you figure it,
there's always a flake,
morning after shakes,
Chefs boiling in bits,
they all need a wage,
bosses on the make,
Spotify's new gadgets,
hang from the plates,
my head's in space,
no words can fit,
le grande porcelaine,
spinning my face,
a window launderette,
puts me out the game,
light up by a frame,
select from the list,
music holds me today,
be a cheek to say,
love doesn’t exist,
but my hisband's mate,
looks like he's hit,

Indy
Smouldering like a star,
chasing numbers,
leaving back doors ajar,
drink sets her apart,
her boss says 'i wonder,'
she's a great heart,
then she bought a car,
it made her trouble,
he won't let her off,
right from the start,
bewildered and rumbled,
she floors the tar,
her lovely Da,
ten years in numbness,
still hears her laughter,
could have gone far,
her life surrendered,
a slash of lipstick on,
the love of her Ma,
terrible to be a mother,
eyes a burrowed tarp,
says love is a hunger.

Hope
By the rose garden door,
of Saint Phillip Neri,
she watches the poor,
cross Catherine Street,
in their eyes a need,
linen can'twash clean,
the soul of lost hordes,
for some a little weed,
sun falls as they walk,
every evening an entry,
when life is cheap,
it's a beggar's party,
all of them taught,
you don't need judiciary,
to shoplift a store,
only truth is to scurry,
not be indentified,
brought before a jury,
each part of thought,
is the stuff of poverty,
now and then caught,
between moon and sea.

Sometimes in this place,
you just don't know,
what its going to take,
the same with those,
who forget to show,
don't rate their jobs,
it's best when you pray,
give yourself a blow,
bless those who're late,
how their stories show,
when sheepish they follow,
friends who go alone,
I really want to skate,
moonlit hills not stones,
maybe have to wait,
this café trade is slow,
early wine’s not to waste,
a crowded bar might atone,
it’s a happy day,
listening to a jazz solo,
a cigarette in my face,
morning feels like home.

Faith
In a supermarket yard,
lovely face washed,
by rain and river salt,
always dressed decent,
her trolley for a cross,
sees them lay blankets,
spirits without a spark,
they sit here to rest,
it's a quare clerk,
not put out infrequent,
when clearing the mess,
but thinks of the loss,
they all rob at Primark,
she shops at Hugo Boss,
her life is not stark,
if you pause a momwnt,
best you don't forget,
each of us is vagrant,
they are like larks,
rise to tife's lash,
there's not a cart,
to fill all the wants. ,
