Theresa
She hears a strange whisper,
the sound of a removal van,
thinks of all her sisters,
each move smoother now,
no one faults her tan,
in every room she’s known,
wears a plastic hair clip,
bars are full of men,
happy off their last trip,
they rise like supernova,
walks the streets with them,
among sea green clover,
barefoot prays for hips,
her dancing days are done,
will miss the Tango dips,
rather than having fun,
to find this new drum,
wonders if she’s driven,
if he'll ever come ?
Sophie
The track is midnight blue,
her smile doesn’t show,
what has been refused,
strangled by swaying men,
she'll flash a lovely No,
a dancing smile at best,
she doesn't need to choose,
to take their tales and show,
the scarred lands of truth,
that look is the test,
she's young and free to bestow,
what others try at best,
the train and its crew,
travel like the crow,
outside there is a moon,
warm themselves at rest,
frost rims the windows,
she knows failure or success,
love won’t make her yellow.

Rachel
Do you want me like this,
am I just your shout,
who doesn’t need to exist,
powdered lightly you emerge,
shadows dance on your mouth,
the fragrance of cold purges,
some play at being missed,
those who like the South,
all day you fuss and twist,
why flaunt a constant dirge,
be waylaid by touts,
I have gone beyond hurt,
and you my sister,
a coquette with every pout,
who refuse me any kiss,
a singer of great splurges,
lovers bite their fists,
waters part and merge,
am I to be dismissed ? .

Queen
Absolved of troubles,
we've wrapped in time,
he passes me a double,
uncertainty arrested,
glad we’re still alive,
my whiskey flows West,
delivery testimony cuddled,
love glows on the line,
hangs on flowery pillows,
believe me a life selected,
is the stuff of wine,
many evenings requested,
poets speak of rivers,
lime trees, water, moonrise,
life unfolds in pictures,
nothing but a treasure chest,
the sea looks to revive,
always at our best,
when the sun declines.

Phoebe
She sees the creep of moon,
yellow as the easy night,
rise again too soon,
gleaming black cars swwep,
around kids who drink wine,
summer goes without sleep,
men who love to cruise,
seek meaning of their life,
like their women fools,
she smiles but doesn’t need,
lemon blonde August subshine,
she's never in too deep,
on her white railed schooner,
she embraces the sky,
hoisting her own festoons,
she laughs as waves leap,
nothing makes her frightened,
guides the rippled sheets,
and everything brightens.

Olivia
Who wants to be free,
asks my new found lover,
I lift my hand easy,
nothing between me and home,
breezes kind on the peninsula,
it’s not right to be alone,
her bright smiling homily,
is not given to anyone,
toenails painted strawberry,
she'll re -arrange my loans,
a really fun one,
big colours of her clothes,
red wine and the sea,
I ask if anyone's told her,
about the scope of emnity,
God knows where she's from,
it's a short step to clarity,
better say what’s going on,
I don't do security.

Nancy
The sum of brighter days,
secures a great freedom,
my dance away from jail,
the cafĂ©’s and the streets,
bring a sense of ease,
even solace to my sleep,
not a real holiday,
but a place in between,
where I love to stay,
all my debts released,
beneath cool plane trees,
music floats over me,
I adore this quiet place,
even in the summer season,
luck has had its say,
no matter the law decrees,
the chaos of my journey,
brings me to the sea,
all its cool tranquility.
