An unread poem on my knees, you demand to see your kin, what lies in between, you always say you know, a fury on your lips, riven like a broken bone, am I allowed some ease, ablaze on the world's rim, beyond your perfect belief, even if truth is blown, a power beyond my ken, why always claim the show, wrapped within your rosary, polished dry by a whim, throw prayers back at me, say you want to atone, stroke her chubby chin, your lawyers don't say so, before you act judicially, please count with me to ten, think of love historically, a canto set to spill.

Painter of religious scenes, she stretches other frames, stands quiet before relief, regards things she's honed, adjusts to make a space, doubts she's ever alone, in yellow nights of dreams, even when out the game, nothing is what it seems, in many ways she's prone, looks lost without a name, work comtains her soul, insight lets her see, painting is just like mail, it arrives from history, the pull of other thrones, would not let her deign, serene when someone's gone, art is her Gethsamane, wakes and greets the day, another stroke isr liberty, love is always strange.

Penelope

You cross on the sea, things are never the same, salt is in your being, danger in your eyes, fame resides with your gait, does it bring other lies, perfume rises in the heat, bourne on gentle waves, love beckons at your feet, how you hold the line, you cannot say, even if it makes you wise, a prayer outside the sacristy, bright rubies for your days, enjoy a silken probity, beyond the burning fire, someone chants your name, a smell of sandalwood rises, truth is never easy, essence of turbulent ways, chained to your odyssey, your heart is ablaze.

Whoever can resist, my diminished fame, shaded in morning mist, hidden by dunes and scree, realms of useless probate, lay scattered at my feet, beware of those you kiss, or those who turn and say, why are'nt you a realist, the quayside gathers heat, sunshine a million shapes, for me that's all seeing, let everything go amiss, I can safely state, rage won't absolve us, everything we see, we will see again, those who bleat, uncertain misfits, play useless games, lost to anxiousness, I know my own name.

He holds the door ajar, hair falls to my knees, it doesnt go very far, I sit around a Pool, wind rustles in the trees, who needs this news, they ask about my Da, he's just another wheeze, lonely as a shooting star, all the money he screwed, took him out to sea, the way they punish fools, home is another car, furnished by my Ma's sigh, a place of stolen parts, do not want these fueds, forget the hurt released, that's for another you, he crosses to the bar, regards the evening sea, wish it could be more, love let's me dream.

That’s behind you now, is over no more duels, don't throw in the towel, on golden sand you dream, all that melts in blue, washed gently by the sea, it's easy to be down, stuff you've been through, just lay back get brown, home smells of yellow leaves, frost forming on the pew, relax just let it be, memories you can't own, let thoughts shine through, welcoming the good alone, keep your lips well sealed, offer the sky your perfume, run on steady wheels. build a favourite tale, everything beautiful, no one forever fails, no one makes you lose.

Out over the long lights, side by side in harmony, cool as anthracite, why bother take a train, or sail on the lee, when we jump a plane, so far we're all right, who needs a reason, to act like socialites, it's fun being away, don't ever concretely, enquire or complain, but cruel silent nights, robs us of scrutiny, no blue dawn can deny, horizons become frayed, diamond sun all-seeing, light shows our strain, we want to be free, we sing from on high, below us the sea, don’t ask me why?
