Maya Two

Fear hollows out my night, makes me swallow ancient flame, wait for lamps to light, when I'm most shot through, you’ll hear me state, change is but our due, a dream of life outside, moments to pray, drink a little sweet wine, there are no avenues, I won’t walk again, you will too, laugh in a better clime, no one else to blame, for part of me dying, don't need shine my shoe, all pieces in play, our tide will turn blue, beyond a knife held tight, will you apply a tourniquet, don't look away in fright, we'll go home again.

Maya

Don't let the doom crew, make it seem, you'll always sing the Blues, cold weather brings them on, don't know the disease, they always find a home, even if the wind rocks cruel, don’t stop your dreams, you'll always lose a few, come here my lovely one, laugh beside an arctic sea, nothing beats what’s gone, the dark days of feud, are now just history, you’ll always beat the curfew, even when fields turn blond, stay with me, our love is a marathon, dance the way you do, not from screams, no icebergs frighten you, what you believe.

Rowe Three

A broken tort on my knees, you demand to see the child, what lies in between, when you think you know, fury in your smile, say it's just like you, can’t I have some ease, you ignore the signs, believe perfect belief, even if not true, a power beyond my sight, you always claim the virtue, wrap it around your misery, in whispered prayers at night, throw them back at me, the terms you accrue, somehow heaven's insight, lawyers stick with glue, before you ask the judiciary, to take the precious mite, of love across the sea, enquire about my rights?

Love holds the door ajar, your hair falls down the line, you don't get very far, but sit around a Pool, trees wave in blended time, who needs their news, to ask about your Da, just another wine, lonely as a shooting star, the money he tooled, in a poor jaded light, punishing the fools, home another car, furnished by mother's cries, a place of stolen parts, including you, you fool, forget the hurt inside, he caught a piece of you, that sits on the bar, and sees the morning rise hit the highway burning tar, we won't see your eyes.

Rowe

A winter of religious scenes, she dabs at another frame, stands without relief, regards the thing she's honed, out from that other game, doubts she's ever alone, in yellow nights of dreams, even when she looks away, it's not what it seems, in many ways she's gone, lost without a name, the work is not her own, but canvas lets her see, painting's like a nail, a matchstick in the sea, the pull of other thrones, never lets her reign, her hand is a stone, but work is her Me, she wakes and eyes the day, another strike at liberty, there's no better way.

You cross to the lee, things are never the same, salt dawdles on the breeze, danger comes to your eyes, fame is in your gaze, has it brought another spy, perfume from last night’s heat, rises on gentle waves, surrounds you at your seat, how you hold the line, you won't be framed, even if you tell a lie, a church without society, a jewel for your days, silk on this silken sea, beyond the burning fires, someone chants your name, the gods are wise, being true is never easy, especially with this campaign, they will set you free, chained to your odyssey.

Who can resist, or diminish your flame, sometimes by a wayward kiss, hidden by brickfields and scree, supplies of waste, gather at your feet, beware of those you hit, please don’t turn and say, am I being remiss, the alley ticks with heat, sunshine falls in little grapes, your look is all-seeing, let them go piss, you say again, rage will absolve us, for everything we see, we'll see again, including our envy, uncertain misfits, shoved tossed away, fools seeking justice, beg for your name.
