Penny

Waiting for the train, an ordinary day a breeze, on methadone you never pray, Amtrack kicks up a spray, this isn't my scene. long journey nerves are frayed, its gone half past eight, she waves goodbye to dreams, i'm cool but burn with rage, the way she closes the gate, i still feel the heat, me who'll take the blame, carriage windows in the rain, it's never just to plead, that makes her shout too late, she'll always make me pay, you see what i mean, loving now with Tammy Ray, face narrowed to a scream.
