One Oh Four

When bells ring out the night, she will make her mark, like a song beseeches why, the land’s within sight, a warm embrace by dark, give me your sweet sign, dusk falls in green light, our lives leap near Trinity Bar, say you won’t be split, when Americans fight, hold lovers in their cars, on mountain bykes, a dancer whose fame decides, is the prize too far, on many a famous night, like a scene of pure delight, a smoky voice in estuary tar, gleams like a searchlight, she never leaves a family’s side, but sings like a Lark, a woman who knows her rights, she's the lucky star.
