Chrissie Three
What dreams do we keep,
they ask us the ghosts,
sat at bars or seats,
leave us alone thank you,
our faces might need soap,
but we've heard the news,
we are not at ease,
have thrown away the ropes,
just let us be,
do what we say we'd do,
bones as strong as stones,
no need for your views,
a ticket for the Sea,
carries tiny wings of hope,
hanging on the breeze,
don't ask how we sleep,
or even what we know,
as ships or docksides leap,
set ourselves free,
take freight trains home,
laugh at our belief,
we can keep it going
