Nadia Three
You stretch the sunny days,
smile an absent stream,
now you're on your way,
don’t bring me bad news,
like a losing team,
or say you know what to do,
lying in the rain,
by St Brendan’s quay,
it kills me to see you again,
there’s a spirit in you,
that’s hard to release,
a parish of broken rules,
I’ll work and save,
whatever the need,
but always feel your nails,
the lovers you took,
made you dream,
now you're just cool,
meeting in a warm cafe',
bridge of burned-out feelings,
you sip warm tea and cakes,
something’s missing.
