Ellen Two
Wouldn't it be great,
to slide on fallen snow,
spin slowly in the rain,
say it's not a ruse,
many a night that’s gone,
what you never lose,
don't worry about the gain,
at supper ask for bones,
scream for stuff each day,
forgetting is our due,
everything we blow,
what’s given to the few,
we’ll always die intestate,
spit upon the loans,
consider what remains,
we can never choose,
when we’re on the go,
burn only low cost fuel,
lips made to celebrate,
great deeds where grasses grow,
champagne cognac is our grace,
put it all on show.
