Raymond Two
We’ll make our mark,
won’t look like shoeshines,
rise early in the dark,
hankering for love,
most of our nights,
but worry what's above,
in a supermarket car park,
we drink loads of wine,
hang around cars,
we all need a crust,
anything suits us fine,
we laugh at the double,
never walk far,
it’s just low level crime,
each step more scars,
we work without gloves,
put ourselves on the line,
Okay, when it's good,
but never a star,
to show us what's right,
still we search,
our eyes to the sky.
