Hadley
We share jokes and put,
hope risen to appear,
like geese in the dusk,
no one hires a clown,
to be ushered in here,
someone who lets us down,
for those not fussed,
we'll always give a cheer,
one's we nearly lost,
in our Ocean town,
when the skies are clear,
we'll sail the Sound,
celebrate sunshine's thrust,
he arrives like the deer,
with a hint of musk,
in hazy bars he's known,
makes us forget fear,
never on his own,
we brush the falling tears,
each night is a must,
the laughs and happy years,
howl before the dust.
