Sammy
Who threw away the years,
every age has its must,
laughs and happy tears,
any life's too short,
for the ones you trust,
a pale toil of waters,
you ran wawy from here,
within the falling dusk,
stars saw you dance clear,
knew you’d be sought,
spinning pennies for luck,
brought back to Court,
you lived free from fear
on this tidal flood,
was it me too insincere,
not being overawed,
did you ask too much,
the fact now you're bust,
blow flame across my fears,
give me back your touch,
laugh before you disappear,
that's what I thought,
