Katharine

In the diamond sunlight, she sees the poor, heads covered on the line, it's cold for the season, father's sons daughters, clutch papers for credence, there's a big tide tonight, many a truth is sought, can't be swept outta sight, they shiver in the lee, from a city above the port, they've come here by sea, she worries about time, wonder if they're caught, within a new policy drive, there's just no reason, to tolerate faces wrought, exposed by innocent plea, a detail of an Ocean life, ends here with a nought, some bring their wives, who could ask more ?
