Harley
Some nights I ask why,
other times God says so,
why stars make me cry,
it might be Space,
that marks our credit zone,
you're always out so late,
back within my sight,
the wind is black and cold,
have you taken fright,
fire and warmth is great,
then why go roaming,
sit with me and stay,
wake up and smile,
make this place a home,
flame starts with a light,
when you hear me remonstrate,
strain my hungry bones,
ask what's to celebrate,
chasing sky alone ?

Ginny
Here's the question,
why on a secret phone,
you refuse all forensics,
if there's no case,
to answer your creaking bones,
why do you hide away,
say you hear whispers,
of me in magenta tones,
but who makes the trespass,
don't blame the fates,
for taking my loans,
i'm the one intestate,
how are you like this,
flushed as a trombone,
to escape being witness,
your voice is still great,
but no one condones,
your fine line of hate,
be careful at inquests,
your face like blue bone,
unknown and bitter,
blow smoke on your own.

Don't leave with someone else,
from this house of sinners,
lies won't seal our debts,
please spell out why,
you are at your limit,
can't even face the night,
let me take the test,
get us some credit,
leavened by peace or rest,
to be like a child
who enjoys each instant,
makes me feel enlightened,
perish awful nests,
bones of saints for relics,
loved by only friends,
there's blessing in my cry,
a love in middle distance,
where my fears take flight,
blown on sweet incense.

Esme
Then you wave ta ra,
it sometimes makes me shiver,
I die sitting at the bar,
you say I am a fool,
to give a little quiver,
you'll be back soon,
takes you tell are rotten,
stories of ports and rivers,
other lives you've scarred,
my image's just a spool,
something you deliver,
bottles, tar, tidal floods,
pictures from afar,
between passage as my lover,
left like a door ajar,
forgive this poor fool,
somewhere she remembers,
when they drain the pool,
you won't be living.

Dana
Smoking a lucky star,
chasing numbers,
always swimming out too far,
the same calendar sisters say,
how we wondered,
she'd make a great play,
her great beating heart,
lived near the wetlands,
then she bought a car,
sped into the fray,
her face bewildered,
would give anyone a race,
right from the start
insisted,
we watch her skid park,
she hit the cliff gates,
her laughter gone still,
almost ten years to date,
love always hungers.

ChloƩ
In a supermarket yard,
her lovely face stretched,
washed by rain and dark,
shining and decent,
the trolleys are fetched,
where the bums frequent,
she walks across,
where they make bets,
a spirit of great spark,
comes here to to assess,
it's a rare frequence,
not put to the test,
when clearing this park,
to be at her best,
she shops at The Ark,
but'll never forget them,
life bursts with interest,
unlike polished gems,
the hymn of all vagrants.

Bella
Lonely as this fools game,
you don't know what to do,
who you have to pay,
the same with pasting rouge,
when others look for praise,
how you ought to know,
just when you say,
somwone give me a tow,
the punter turns up late,
how they break your bones,
think if you hesitate,
won't leave you alone,
forget about their pay,
duties come with stones,
they'll just have to wait,
I need time not groans,
stories to write and create,
at easy depths not shallows,
blow smoke find a mate.
