Siobhan
A crescent moon at Winter,
I know what is to love,
but always be a sinner,
surrounded by icy streets,
I turn my face towards,
the freezing gentle sea,
if the cold light kills us,
my time is one of trouble,
dance to different drummers,
are they out of reach,
a friend holds a dove,
no matter what I preach,
across the dun lit hills,
my shadow's like a moth,
I ascend the rills,
a Catholic flame and keeper,
my Ma pines for summer,
but cannot get the reason,
why I act so tough.

Rae
at starboard he hails me,
I am his lady,
all there is to be,
hunted slant of the mast,
shadows dance on crates,
crescent moon at Christmas,
surrounded by auxiliaries
the radar blinks and wails,
lights blinks eratically,
wires ripples on their cast,
he's oh so wild and brave,
wven when danger's passed,
we're racing on the sea,
slamming through waves
wind hides my folded dreams,
please hold her fast,
what is there to save,
she's warm and snug at last,
I'm aching for a baby

Who brings the lie,
to a thirteen year old,
one difficult to deny,
smoking old cigarettes,
chasing paper folds,
they just don't get it,
how we carry the die,
the fear left untold;
all the reasons why.
a cloudy evening sets,
we are making bold,
release us this debt ,
shout up to the sky,
blow away our role,
no longer terrified,
anxious piroettes.
waiting for the scold.
never tell me yet,
love is all.

More than any laughter,
love seeps around her knees,
It isn't broken water,
inflated or in despair
can cry when she pleases,
life's never really fair,
what is not a slaughter,
compared to other release,
lets the blues sail upriver,
she stands without care,
relishes a sense of peace,
catch the green evening,
she's become her mother,
whatever that means,
hope is left within her,
she’ll never declare,
any joy without cease,
but do what's upto her,
just enjoy this scene.

Who will tend our bones,
how beautiful is rain,
it will wash the stones,
my arms around him twine
straining his body away.
limpid now the sunlight,
pink Lupins nod and fold,
their noses to the day,
birds never sing alone,
songs are a keening rhyme,
a skylark leads the way,
horses hold the fenceline,
July resists our clothes,
sweat runs down his face,
a tractor hugs the road,
our baby now is fine,
it rocks along the way,
the boy is nearly nine,
am happy for this roam,
brings us back to stay,
everything we call home,
sparkles like the hay.

Nora
How do I make this scene,
looking sweet on sherry.
a sourball to protect me,
off my face alone,
flushed with Dutch frippery,
wish i was going home,
mascara pushed up my sleeve,
eyes looking furtively,
looking for some release, ,
red and yellow phone's,
sing out a cigarette night,
Oh God leave me alone,
my greatest days to flee,
suddenly bear a why,
hope no one fancies me,
sit side by side consoled,
he's a boy off the tide,
asks why i chose this role,
at my next epiphany,
I won't't bother with sighs,
leave a note to territory,
just wave him goodbye.

Marie
Sat in the grey light,
my lover alongside me,
know everything's all right,
sunrise over the Rhone,
Cafe Coin serves good coffee,
a vista when we come,
warm clothes as sun fires,
trhe light above the trees,
we enjoin the coming sky,
salt cakes a global warning,
birds fly on earthly need,
rabbitts dance in the combing,
we sip the last of wine,
remains of an evening party,
no need for Turkish delight,
we'll return home,
go back by boat and sea,
the weather won’t be cold,
warm brown days pass by,
work and save diligently,
all that's best in life,
worth more than money.
