Olivia

To those who ask of late, a chance to say please, my house is losing slates, run a bath with foam, give into your creed, the loving isn't done, remember the holidays, our trips to the beach, when you wanted to paint, studied all my bones, became suddenly aggrieved, now the colour's gone, wouldnt look me that way, make my troubles cease, understand why I prayed, don't want to cast stones, am OK to believe , you will never atone, what is there to say, with people like these, small horizons in the rain, won't replace my needs.

Nayeli

Like a ship on big sea, we swear to the night, let us reach the quays, a shoal of lost hordes, together in flight, recued from ocean's maw, help us we plead , between moon and sky, please set us free, escape Hell's back door, the tryannous lies, bequeathed to the poor, save us from the police, wind ticking clocks tight, show us our destiny, pray visions at the shore, tell us what's right, can we do any more, treat us so gently, say everything's fine, we'll stay with our faith, bless you in life.

Mila

A cross for her love, to where we drink wine, she makes us her buds, to sup beneath stars, it's not before time, everything called ours, shapes offers to above, lost in her rhymes, the year she went bust, hair like a jump start, shows how she unwinds, still drives her car, steers the old tub, down avenues of Lime, the cops take a look, never easy or calm, sitting by her side, life is just too stark, my home will do fine, sings into her gloves, just for a little while, life's only a crust.

Clouds furl along the sky, death brings no easy due, even when you die, who cares who is strong, it still comes for you, consumes all your spark, then something deep inside, not just an ordinary hue, lets you see the light, those who appeal for balm, never follow rules, fire still burns in song, however hard you try, love is not immune, it always makes me cry, why ask if you belong, those who feel it too, never walk alone, forget troubled nights, Cafe's do bring bad news, a hundred reasons why, live as if you knew.

Katharine

In the diamond sunlight, she sees the poor, heads covered on the line, it's cold for the season, father's sons daughters, clutch papers for credence, there's a big tide tonight, many a truth is sought, can't be swept outta sight, they shiver in the lee, from a city above the port, they've come here by sea, she worries about time, wonder if they're caught, within a new policy drive, there's just no reason, to tolerate faces wrought, exposed by innocent plea, a detail of an Ocean life, ends here with a nought, some bring their wives, who could ask more ?

Josie

She has a sure spark, her face lit in lights, mail unopened in yards, hankers for what's above, craves on lonely nights, doesn't worry about love, with her delivery cart, they ask her to walk by, messages for hazy bars, we all need a crust, the gig suits her fine, she won't drink doubles, if it's a walk too far, rushing about's a crime, just return before dark, works without gloves, unlike other times, before the sun came up, if they publish a chart, tell us what's right, she'll study those cards, be first in line.
