Carol

You'd gamble anything, my sister says, including a tiny waist, around your bones, do you ever retain, the time we spent alone, but you shied away, chased lovers like the rain, at sounds of break of day, going out as we came in, could you see us any other way, smoking your Marlboro thins, maybe now you laugh or groan, dance in sunlight forget the pain, never a need to atone, can't you feel the rage, us little ones displayed, confused by other's praise, is no one to blame ?
