Fion Two
Memories of your face,
so eager so sweet,
the state of your grace,
you recoil at my thunder,
my very conceit,
a man fixed by number,
they called me too late,
eager to squeeze,
the life where you lay,
a path uncluttered,
my insides heave,
my storm-tossed lover,
you went out one day,
while I was asleep,
my dreams fall away,
it’s a conundrum,
wreaths, stones, grave,
who splits who asunder,
I hear you say,
Just walk and smile easy,
just break away,
now you’re released.
