Cathy Two
Happy songs in my car,
funds still in the bank,
the trail leaves no mark,
blown in on the bay,
a ticking of the crank,
does it have to be this way,
I peer within your bars,
even sunshine's dank,
scatter ashes in the dark,
what is there to say,
my mind fills up blank,
clings to a brighter day,
Oh, you are a dog,
no one else to thank,
rolled me like a log,
brought me to this state,
let me be frank,
there’s plenty left anyway,
you’ll never know how far,
what goes down the track,
can see what's going on,
gas still in my tank.
