Sean Two
Your kisses leave me,
shivering on the train,
silver tongues bereft of family,
the wailed news,
lies dead across my face,
more jelly than the blues,
who knows what to believe,
the falling rain ,
is a blessed relief,
it will bring the crew,
to these shifting gates,
that always tell the truth,
a swollen handkerchief,
a stillborn fate,
a star across the sea,
it’s so cruel,
how hard life can be,
before sunset glooms,
where tears can't reach,
a soul astray,
don't spoil my dreams,
I’m on my way.
