Carter

When you start to say, shall we dance alone, please ask a little later, throw salt on the fire, don't use your ‘phone, you’re not a liar, make lightning seconds delay, it's lonely on stones, our Iliad’s away, cows are in their biers, these boulders rough-hewn, calms all desires, give us back our day, not some rag and bone, can they hear us pray, we are like Sapphires, whose sparkle once shone, draw air to the pyre, we need a break, our jangled chromosomes, won't jiggle or flake, waltz our way home.
