Mathilde

Some nights I ask why, can we ever fly alone stars burn out and die, it might well be Mars, for all anyone knows, we’re out this far, sailing through the starry night, the wind black and cold, it’s no place to lie, if its kids and dogs you want, ham falling off the bone, don’t start a new war, can you hear me cry, running out of furlough, it's not enough to sigh, we’ll buy a new car, see how fast she goes, stay where we are, even if the flame’s not right, create space in our home, lightning rides the sky, am I that far gone ?
